Kindermusik by Ally

About Ally Trotter

Mrs. Ally Trotter is licensed and trained by Kindermusik International, and has enjoyed serving the Columbia, SC and surrounding areas since 2003. She has participated in school gospel and concert choirs, ensembles, and a bell choir growing up. She also had the privilege of studying voice with Ann Benson, a professor at Columbia College. She plays guitar and enjoys performing and composing her own musical pieces. Ally continues to enjoy helping families connect more with their children through music and learning. She is a firm believer in creating a no-pressure, fun, non-performanced based class, which is a big part of the Kindermusik philosophy. In 2010, she was awarded Kindermusik International's Inspirational Educator of the Year in recognition of her partnership with The University of South Carolina's CarolinaLIFE program and work with student Bryann Burgess. Find out more about their partnership here.

When she's not teaching and directing Kindermusik By Ally, she enjoys being a wife and a homemaker. She enjoys cooking, playing guitar, front porch sitting and taking long walks and canoe trips with her husband. Ally continues her professional development teaching ABC Music & Me, Mommy and Me, Family Time, and other studio curricula as well as a passionate advocate with a special outreach for families with children who have special needs.
